Marc Hype savo DJ karjerą pradėjo 1988 metais, įkvėptas Jam Master Jay. Per kelis hip-hop dešimtmečius jis išleido nesuskaičiuojamą kiekį įrašų, turėjo daugybę turų, dalyvavo turnyruose tokiuose kaip ITF čempionatas (laimėjo jį 1998 ir 1999 metais).
Per šį laikotarpį jis bendradarbiavo kartu su tokiais atlikėjais kaip Juicy Crew legenda Masta Ace, Souls Of Mischief, Edo G., Zion I, DJ Z-Trip, Patrick Pulsinger, Killa Kela, Akrobatik & Mr. Lif. Metams bėgant jo įrašų kolekcija ir muzikinis mąstymas prasiplėtė ir nuvedė jį prie funky muzikos. Marc Hype visada primenybę teikia freestyle‘ui, visada su unikaliu groove‘u ir nesvarbu, koks tai muzikos žanras.
2004 metais Berlyne jis sutiko pasaulinio lygio pianistą Jim Dunloop ir pradėjo su juo bendradarbiauti ties šou ir įrašais. Sujungus jų abiejų neginčytinus įgūdžius, 2005 metais buvo išleista jų pirma bendra plokštelė. 2009 metais MPM Rec. Išleido jų albumą „Stamp out reality“, kuriame buvo kūriniai kartu su tokiais atlikėjais kaip legendinis Blowfly, Mr. Complex, Flomega ir Lady Dasey. Taip pat jie užsitarnavo puikią reputaciją darydami tokių atlikėjų kaip All Good Funk Alliance, Deela, Kid Gusto ar Danny Massure kūrinių remix‘us.
Marc Hype tapo žinomas visame pasaulyje, o jo turų maršrutai tik patvirtina, kad jis sugeba užvesti publiką visame pasaulyje: Europa, Niujorkas, Hong Kongas, Kinija, Kambodža, Vietnamas, Singapūras, Jungtiniai Arabų Emyratai, Rusija, Izraelis, Indija, Australija…

Marc Hype began his DJ career, inspired by the late great Jam Master Jay, in 1988 and went through the several decades of hip hop with countless releases, tours and competitions like the ITF championships, which he won twice in 98 & 99. During this time he collaborated and recorded with artists like the Juice Crew legend
Masta Ace, Souls Of Mischief, Edo G., Zion I, DJ Z-Trip, Patrick Pulsinger, Killa Kela, Akrobatik & Mr. Lif. Over the years his record collection and his musical mind expanded and led him to all kinds of funky music. His selection on the decks as on production is freestyle, always with a unique groove, no matter the genre.
In the year 2004 he met world class pianist Jim Dunloop in Berlin and quickly they began to collaborate on shows and production. His proven skills on the decks combined with the undisputed talent of Dunloop’s key wizadry followed their first vinyl releases in 2005 on the infamous Milk Crate label, “The Antique Anthem”, “Bombay Raw” & “Finale 74”, which were very successful in the worldwide dj-circuit, followed by a cover version of Babe Ruth’s “The Mexican” in 2006, which was dubbed by UK’s Jazzman Gerald as “the” version to have. In 2009 the album “Stamp out reality” was released on MPM Rec. which featured artists like the legendary Blowfly, Mr Complex, Flomega and Lady Daisey. On the remix tip they build a strong reputation with works for artists like All Good Funk Alliance, Deela, Kid Gusto or
Danny Massure to name a few.
Besides he built a strong reputation in the worldwide, upcoming Nufunk scene and hosted the highly acclaimed Rap History Berlin series and several SoulClap! events in Germany & Asia. His past tour schedule proved his ability to rock internationally with stops allover Europe as in NYC, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Cambodia, Vietnam, Singapore, United Arabian Emirates, Russia, Israel, India & Australia.
